Children In Need

Our goal was to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in young children. We used the metaphor of a heavy backpack, concluding with the poignant line, "Some children carry more than others." The art direction was to create powerful statements through embroidered patches, reminiscent of those on a backpack, designed to make viewers take a closer look and understand the deeper message.

We focused on a range of challenging emotions and issues such as Grief, Anxiety, Loneliness, Bullying, and Hunger. Each depicted through stylised typography and illustration that vividly capture the essence of these topics.

We also wanted our designs to represent possible characteristics of the child e.g. football illustrations or punk rock music references all to help tell a story and bring it to life.

OOH & Press

Working closely with our photographer Charlie Clift, we created a series of impactful compositions that not only tells a story with it's surrounding but hero the badge designs on the backpack. Below are some examples in-situ.
